Being a small, locally-owned practice in Port Charlotte allows me to give you the time and attention you deserve. I believe in total transparency and integrity. Whether you need a repair for a device purchased elsewhere or you’re looking for a no-pressure consultation for new technology, my goal is the same: to help you Hear Better, Feel Better, and Live Better.

We are located at 3417 Tamiami Trail in the Tower Center. Our office is on the second floor—just look for our name on the monument sign at the street and follow the blue arrows to our windows!

I am a musician with a regular Monday night gig at Micelis in Matlacha. I depend on my hearing aids to get me through each night. I had an emergency on a Thursday, my left hearing aid went out. Panicking, I contacted Hear USA, the company that took over Charlotte Medical where I had purchased my aids. They checked my hearing aid and told me it was my ear that was bad. Scared me. I called Miricle Ear and explained my urgency, and the gave me an appointment for the following Tuesday. Also contacted Hearing Center of Charlotte County. Same story they didn't seem To care about my EMERGENCY either. I called Scott at Courtesy Hearing. He was about to close. When I explained my situation, he told me to come on in. He left a customer her was working on to check my aid. He told me it was a bad microphone, and to wait until he finished his customer. He fitted me with a new pair of Widex aids that he let me wear to use on my gig, while he sent mine in. This man put my problem before money or his time. He had nothing vested in me, yet he helped me out of my Emergency. I bought a new pair of top of the line Widex's as a result of his kindness. Got my old set as back ups now. THANK YOU COURTESY HEARING, AND THANK YOU WIDEX FOR YOUR HELP. I WILL BE A REGULAR CUSTOMER OF COURTESY HEARING.

I have hearing aids I got in Michigan less than two years ago; I paid approximately $4700.00 for them. They never worked; I stopped wearing my hearing aids because they didn't work. I moved to Florida last year. A friend recommended I call Scott at Courtesy Hearing. He told me to come in and he'd see what he could do. As it turns out, the original audiologist in Michigan did not download my audiogram into my hearing aids. They were effectively expensive ear plugs. Scott communicated with the hearing aid manufacturer, confirmed there was no audiogram in my hearing aids. He did a hearing test, downloaded it into my hearing aids, paired them with my IPhone [I didn't know I could do that!]. I called my granddaughter in Michigan; I haven't been able to hear a word she says, and I could hear her!!!! I will be forever grateful to Scott!!! He could have told me my hearing aids were trash and sold me another pair. Instead, he did the honorable thing and repaired mine. As far as I'm concerned, integrity like that is rare! I can't recommend him enough!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Courtesy Hearing! First, it was easy to schedule an appointment online around my work schedule. Then, after testing my hearing, the results were thoroughly explained and all my questions were answered without rushing me. Scott is very friendly and thorough. The hearing aid specialist took his time, made sure my hearing was great before I left, an hour and half later. Additionally, he cleaned the molds and replaced the tubes. His office visit price is extremely reasonable.
